In the wake of Liberia’s Ebola Crisis UNIFORM, a viral kickstarter campaign, is aiming to tackle the decline of school enrollment rates in the Liberian community. With every purchase of a UNIFORM sustainable t-shirt, made entirely in Africa, a school uniform is donated to a child in Liberia who wouldn’t otherwise attend school. The campaign not only enables more Liberian children access to education, it employs under-priviledged Liberian woman — of which 95% of them mothers. All workers receive a living wage, free healthcare, savings matching, literacy classes and 49% equity in the factory.
Timeless in design and flattering in fit, UNIFORM tees are made from a blend of organic cotton, recycled beechwood, nylon and silk and are claimed to be “the world softest tee”.
