So, I’m currently in lust with the urban, folk, fair trade goodness of Osborn Shoes…

A little about these peeps:

Founded by Aaron and Carla Osborn, Osborn Shoes began as the desire to combine humanitarian efforts in Guatemala with a fashion project. The dream manifested itself in 2007 when Aaron met a cobbler in need of work while he was doing charitable work in the country.

Today, a group of artisans, including the original cobbler, craft each Osborn shoe.  From hand-cutting to assembly– Osborn’s vertical manufacturing practice allow artisans artistic freedom without a sweat-shop environment. Individually signed with love by their maker, each shoe offers a story.
