‘eXtinction’ showcasing tomorrow!

For those of you in “the know” on eco fashion, you must have heard this lovely lady’s name more than a few times. Her name is not the only thing that embodies nature–you see her passion and love for it in everything she does! Summer Rayne Oakes. If you have ever seen her model for a sustainable brand or on the runway of an eco fashion show, bought a pair of Zoe & Zac shoes from Payless, read about eco fashion in her book Style Naturally, or wore a pair of her sunglasses, then you have seen proof of her insanely awesome eco magic. As if the magic would stop there…
At the end of the summer, Summer Rayne Oakes hosted a screening for her new short film, “eXtinction”. The film reveals a “heart-wrenching look at the pressing environmental issues of our day” from her personal experience being born into and existing in today’s world.
Summer explains her intent of creating such a film:
“I think it’s shocking when you look at some of the statistics about what is happening in our world. You can read those statistic until your blue in the face and it doesn’t mean anything but when you see it compared to your life and projected on to your child’s life, it has more meaning.”
Catch extinction tomorrow Dec 9th at 5AM EST / 10AM GMT — the environmental art short Summer Rayne Oakes’ “eXtinction” (5 mins long) directed by Clayton Haskell will be showcasing at http://www.dailymotion.com/en/
